Yes, the roses get pruned. It's a family tradition. I'm not sure I should really call it a family tradition since Jim is the one that does all t he pruning! But he is so good at it! Pruniing the roses is no small task at our house as there are almost 40 rose bushes in our backyard!
He is an expert rose pruner. He knows just how to do it!
And besides that he has so much fun doing it, doesn't he look like he's having fun? Wouldn't want to take his fun away!!

I'm so envious that you have pruned so many roses. I didn't get out from behind the sewing machine or the wheel of my car all weekend, but I have high hopes for tomorrow.
