The last official day of school for the seniors was June 3rd and they had their senior assembly.
The kids get all dressed up, have an award ceremony and practice walking to their seats for the actual graduation ceremony.
Of course being a W Tessa was way in the back but lucky for her, her friend Rachel West and Hallie White were right next to her.
Tessa was recognized several times in the award ceremony. For having earned a Honor's Diploma and being a Westview Academic Scholar.
She was quite well decorated along with her Honor Thespian cord and her NHS cord!
Afterwards we took lots of photos with some of her favorite people!
Then her group of good friends went outside to do a little photo shoot on the school sign. I had left by that time so had get the photos off of Facebook, thus the poor quality.Such a fun group of kids!
Tessa wore her new "old" dress that we had found in the vintage shop in Seattle.

Pink Bridal Shower
Life has finally slowed down a little bit around here so I have some blog catch up to do.
Over Memorial Day weekend I hosted a bridal shower for a girl in the ward. She is Cali's age and had been one of my Beehives. I cohosted it with her sister. Since Annette, the bride, is a ballerina and loves all things pink we decided to go with a pink theme for the shower and also a crepe bar. It was a good choice.
We had lots of yummy fillings for the crepes including three kinds of mousse, lots of berries, lemon curd and other things!
Everyone seemed to love it.
I also made a big framed chalkboard that was fun to use with the name of the bride and the groom on it.
And then I made the wall hanging behind the table out of torn strips of fabric.
Of course there were plenty of fresh flowers form the garden and from the store!
