A Football Weekend

Go Wildcats!

Go Ducks!

Go Beavers!

Go Cougars!

Let's just say there was a lot of football watching going on at our house this weekend!

Friday night was a Westview WildCat game that Tessa went too - the Wildcats won!  I stayed home to work on things for the RS Broadcast the next night.

Saturday  Tessa headed down to Eugene with her friend Sara for the  U of O Duck game against California.

She texted us this photo of her and her new boyfriend!

She and Sara and her parents had a great time.  They made a weekend of it and didn't come home until Sunday afternoon.

Jim watched the game at home and the Ducks won!

Later he watched the Oregon State Beavers play - they lost!

And then he watched the BYU Cougars they won!

3 football games in one day.

Logan and Cali went to the BYU game and Clark sold his tickets.  Logan was down on the field with his friend Lane who films all the games so he had a great view!

Some how I managed to escape watching any of the games.

I was in charge of all the food for the RS Broadcast Saturday night.  It was a pretty easy assignment.  I chose the menu/recipes and then each of the wards were assigned one.  I just had to supervise, followup and buy the ice and lemons for the water.  I didn't get to see any of the broadcast though as I spent the whole time getting the food ready to put out.

Everything turned out great and looked pretty!

Logan and Jenesee had a fun date on Friday - went to see Scarlet Pimpernel and then dinner out at Cheesecake Factory - yum!

After the football game Logan made caramel brownies for a treat after Jenesee got back from the RS Broadcast -yum!

Cali and her roommates had bought tickets to a concert up in SLC before school ended last spring so they did that Saturday night and had a great time.  Then there was the rash saga.....

Clark did homework and hung out with buddies.

The broadcast was awesome. I hope you got to hear (or will get to hear) it later. I guess you can always read it next month if nothing else. Your display of food looks fabulous. I'm glad you had a lot of helpers instead of trying to do it alone. Yikes!
