Relative of the Year Award

I am excited to announce that the

Relative of the Year Award

goes to......

....drumroll please.....

........Wynn Wilkes, Jr. !!!

who was willing to go trough rain or snow, or sleet or hail to deliver my 3
college kids safely to the Salt Lake City airport!!!

Many of you may not know this but he is actually receiving this award for the second year in a row. Last year he spent 5 hours in traffic after delivering them to the airport!!! What an amazing performance by a relative!!!!

Thank you Wynn - we love you!!! I think a big basket full of homemade goodies may have to be your award or maybe a visit to the beach house!!!

There must be a number of people in that role. I am so glad that it worked out for your family! We have a friend who is driving to Gonzaga to bring home a number of stranded students...by car! The airport has been closed. Another brought back a car load from Whitworth. All had air tickets rendered useless! Such heroes!
Snow wasn't an issue in Los Angeles, betting Michael home, but getting him from PDX was another issue!
Merry Christmas to a family that is top notch!

I'm so happy that Wynn Jr. braved the cold, snow, and slick roads to make a mother in Oregon happy (a dad and sister too). Wish I could be a little mouse and see all the excitement in your home. Congrats to Wynn for winning the award two years in a row. . . .With all your BYU students, he may be in the running for many more years to come. He gets my vote too. HUGS!
