One of the last things Tessa had to do to finish up her Young Womanhood Recognition was to complete a Good Works Value Project. She also had to do a service project for her Honor's Diploma so we decided to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.
The project she did for one counted for the other too!
She decided to make blankets for the Linus House Project. She collected fabric and cash donations to buy fabric. Her goal was to make 25 blankets. She had to get other people involved in the project too so Monday, the first day of Spring Break we invited friends from school and church over to help us work on the project.
We had a house full of helpers and were able to make 30 blankets in 2 hours.
The only thing she has left to do is write up a little report and deliver them!
Thanks to everyone who helped Tessa with her project!!!
