Saturday's Market

Saturday was the opening day of the 2011 season of Saturday's Market here in Portland and there was also no rain!  How much better can it get.

We decided that a trip down to the market was the perfect thing to do with the boys and Emily and the girls and Richard and Tamara who arrived on Friday to see the show.  It was so fun to have so much family here to see and support Tessa

We love and appreciate all of you so much!!

We had fun browsing the different vendor booths at the market. (Clark picked up a cute cupcake apron for a "friend" and the girls found a surprise to take home to Ward)

Of course we had to check out the food vendors too - yum.

It was a perfect day for a walk along the waterfront.
Of course you never know what you'll see on the streets of Portland!
We were hoping Emily would let us keep Addi and Jacky but no go - we love those two cuties!  Logan talked them into calling me Grandma Leigh Anne but I told them I liked Aunt Leigh Anne better!!
Who could resist this face!!??  The classic Addi look!

Too cute!

Both girls enjoyed seeing the market from a higher vantage point
Jacky got her Totally Tessa on for a few photos!

Logan tried to talk the girls into running under the water in the fountain but they were just a little too smart for that one!
My favorite photo from the weekend - Clark playing Pretty Pretty Princess!!
I"ll let you guess what he was saying to his mother in this photo!

Jacky requested a little crafting session so we made them some cute banners to hang in their new rooms- when they get a new house!!

Such a fun weekend!!!!

What a fun, fun, fun weekend. Thanks Leigh Anne and Jim for being perfect hosts. The show was fabulous, the food delicious, the entertainment and activities amazing. Pryaing for the preservation of Tessa's voice. Love you!

I don't usually leave a comment on your personal blog, and especially because it's a month after the fact, BUT- I had to comment! Logan and Clark look so natural and great playing with these girls, and after having listened to Elder Scott's message this weekend, tell those boys to get on with it! It's time you were a grandmother! Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now...please forgive me butting in!
