Modest Fashion Presentation

Tuesday night Tessa and I spoke to a Young Women's group in a neighboring stake. They asked us to do a presentation on dressing modestly.

I talked for a bit at the beginning - as the "mother" and then Tessa did the fun stuff and showed them lots of fun ways to put together modest and fashionable outfits!  She was just Totally Tessa!

She did a great job and was so cute and entertaining too!!

Berry Picking

Tuesday morning we decided to go berry picking.  It was a little late in the season for blueberries but we were able to find some at Smith Farm.

 We were able to get a bucket full.

 The Triple Crown Blackberries were just coming on so we picked a bucket full of those too!

 After we were done picking we walked across the street to a cute little cafe and had lunch out on the patio.  Pretty much a perfect day hanging out with my girls.

 We went home and made muffins, blueberry coffee cake and then froze the rest.

Neighborhood Movie Night

Monday night we had, what has become, our annual neighborhood movie night. 

We had a potluck BBQ and everyone just brought whatever they had and we ended up with a delicious dinner.

The best part is just hanging out together and visiting.

 

I brought the movie treats - the movie treat wagon!!

The kids loved setting up their own concession stand for the movie.

We watched Megamind - cute movie.

We are so blessed to have the best neighbors ever!!!
