Graduation and Family

Grandma and Grandpa came down from Longview to go to graduation with us.  Hannah also meet us there after she was done with work.  It was nice to have a few family members with us (Hannah is family)

 And of course there were my crazy girls!

Graduation - Getting Dressed

Of course we had to do a little photo shoot before graduation.

Tessa found her vintage Lanz dress at her favorite vintage store in Portland.  It fit her perfect and looked darling on her.

 Cali very graciously let Tessa wear her brand new shoes we found at Payless before she even wore them.  But they looked great with the dress and perfect under her graduation gown.  Since all you see of the outfit under the gown is the shoes - the shoes are very important.  I loved the shoes and they totally reminded me of ones I use to wear in high school, just like it!

And then she covered it all up!

Tessa had major issues with her cap.  It wouldn't stay on her head.  With her silky shiny hair and those bangs it just had nowhere to grip!  She ended up holding it onto her head with her hands most of the graduation ceremony.  Not sure why we didn't take any bobby pins!!  Hannah graciously pulled one out of her hair and I walked it down to her in her seat at graduation before the ceremony started but one wasn't quite enough.

But the shoes looked great with the gown!

Starlight Parade

In between all the Graduation festivities Cali and Tessa managed to enjoy a little of the Rose Festival that was going on in Portland.


The Starlight Parade kicks everything off and it is on Saturday night.  It was perfect parade watching weather so the girls headed downtown to check it out.

They were joined by friends Kat Matthews who was in town for the weekend and Katy Jo.

Since the parade is at night of course all the floats have lights on them.
