So call me crazy - I know a lot of you already do - admit it!
But we decided to have two graduation parties. One for Tessa and Rachel and all their high school friends and then another one for Tessa for our good friends and neighbors.
The theme for the second party is Smart Cookie because she is such a "smart cookie" We are going to have a milk and cookie bar for the party.
So of course we had to do another photo shoot for the invite for this party. Again lots of cute photos! Way does she have to be so darn photogenic!

Sail Away Photo Shoot
Tessa and her friend Rachel decided to have a joint graduation party. It works well since they have so many mutual friends.
They decided on a nautical - Sail Away theme for the party since they are both "sailing away" to college.
We had a fun little photo shoot to get some pictures for their invite. There were so many cute ones they had a hard deciding which ones to use!

Mother's Day
Jim and the girl's put together a yummy Mother's Day breakfast for me before church.
I had been wanting to recreate the waffles they serve at the Waffle Window in SE Portland so I did some research and found a recipe for Belgian Waffles that used pearl sugar. We made a trip to IKEA to buy some and picked up Tessa's college bedding at the same time.
I also found a recipe for a wheat free/sugar free waffle for Cali that they made too and it was pretty darn good!
The waffles turned out amazing.
Then for dinner they fixed a nice pork tenderloin. I made dessert and it was quite delicious - pavlova with lemon curd and strawberries.
There were some pretty flowers for the table from the garden.
And a pretty new garden art flower for the garden from Jim.
I nice day.
